Leonardo DiCaprio (2010)
DiCaprio may not have grabbed an oscar but the photo shows him grabbing (and probably planting) a tree in Nepal and a camera trap for observation of wildlife in Chitwan. DiCaprio has been helping in conservation of flora and fauna in Nepal.
He was recently in the news for his donation to Nepal for the conservation of our tiger population.
Selena Gomez(2014)
Singer/ Actress Selena Gomez recently visited Nepal in May 2014 on a field visit with UNICEF.
Selena described her visit to Nepal as extraordinarily powerful.She said “At first when you witness children living in extreme poverty you wonder how it is possible that they can be deprived of their basic human needs and rights. Then you talk to these children and you see hope, promise and a bright future. This generation of children believes they can make a difference, and they take action. It starts with quality education and leadership opportunities, like those UNICEF is providing. I’m so proud to serve as a UNICEF Ambassador and be part of a greater movement to help the world’s children.”

The Matrix Star Keanu Reeves visited Nepal during the shooting of the movie - Little Buddha.
He played the lead role of Siddhartha Gautama in the movie. The movie may not have been that big of a hit but still managed to catch fame in Nepal during that time.
Ricky Martin (1999 - 2000)
Gordon Matthew Thomas Sumner, more commonly known as Sting and the star of the song "Every Breath You Take visited Nepal twice in 2005 and once in 2008. He was said to be trekking around the hills of Nepal and is also rumored to have performed in a pub in Thamel

The latino star Ricky Martin, is popular in Nepal more for his hairstyle than anything else. The unique style had been adopted by a a million Nepalese lads during that time.
This guy visited Nepal regularly during 1999 and 2000 for undisclosed business. He used to stay at The Kathmandu Guest house during his visits instead of all the luxurious hotels and resorts the millionaire could afford. Strange? Not really. He is said to be a " simple living, high thinking" guy which proves his secret visits undisclosed to the media.
